In February 2013 Carnival Cruise operator plans to open a cruise season for new ideas. Carnival Freedom ship will depart for an eight-day trip through the Panama Canal. The main feature of the old route is not an abundance of novelties on board or new menu in the restaurant. Refusal from dress code can’t surprise anyone. However, absence of dress code on Carnival Freedom means absence of cloths. February cruise on the Carnival Freedom will be nudist.

Carnival Freedom is one of the largest company’s liners, which can receive up to 3,000 passengers. Tickets for the "naked cruise", where all cabins will likely be occupied, are already available. Currently nearly 70% of the total number of cabins has already been sold out.

Carnival Freedom will be one of the first mega liners, which will host a nudist cruise. And judging by the sales of the new product, main competitors of the Carnival Cruises - Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line - will soon introduce similar offers.

Such a big event in the sphere of nudist cruises was organized by the American organization Bare Necessities. The organization has a lot of like-minded people, which is evidenced by the fact that, according to the American Association for Nude Recreation, US nudist cruise market is accounted at 440 million dollars.

It is worth noting that the "naked cruise" from Carnival Cruise does not mean putting off your clothes just after boarding. "The main thing is the way of thinking and not the manner of expression" - said the head of the Bare Necessities company Nancy Tiemann.

However, it should be noted that today nudist cruises are not rare. Such travels have already been organized on the Greek islands, in Egypt, Croatia and on the Cote d'Azur. This season another major nudist operator, Castaways Travel, has already sold a nudist cruise in the Mediterranean on the sailer of the Windstar Cruise company and reported that a significant part of cabins for the November cruise through the Caribbean Sea on a giant ship Freedom of the Seas has also been sold.
But such nude cruise on a large ship like Carnival Freedom is still an exception to the rule.
