Cunard: new cruises in 2013

One of the oldest and best-known companies of the planet Cunard Lines in late April will present its new cruise program for the 2013 season. New routes and cruises will be available for booking from April 24, 2012.

Currently Cunard manages such legendary cruise ships as Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth. Cunard's reputation in the cruise industry has remained steadfast for many years. The company now offers one of the most luxurious cruises in the world.

Classic is one of the synonyms for Cunard. Therefore a number of operator’s routes will remain unchanged in 2013. First of all it is about the famous transatlantic cruise on the Queen Mary 2 liner, which the ship has been performing from Southampton to New York for several decades. To date this route is the only regular transatlantic cruise in the world. In 2013 cruises on Queen Mary 2 will be available from May until January 2014. In summer 2013 the schedule of Queen Mary 2 will include a traditional cruise to Hamburg during the Cruise Days festival. Among the possible destinations, which will be available for the liner’s passengers are cruises to New England, Antigua (the Caribbean) and the Norwegian fjords.

Queen Victoria ship will spend most of the season cruising along Northern Europe and the Mediterranean. At the same time the liner will offer its passengers at least one new direction. In 2013 season Queen Victoria will offer a 24-day cruise to the Eastern Mediterranean, which will include visiting Turkish ports and subsequent voyage to the Black Sea. The liner will also make a number of exciting tours to Northern Europe, including Geysers & Glaciers tour with stops in ports of Iceland and the Faroe Islands, as well as cruise on the Baltic Sea through St.Petersburg. Cruises on the liner last from 10 to 24 days.

Another cruise legend - Queen Elizabeth - will spend 2013 season in the Mediterranean. Queen Elizabeth will start its cruises in Rome, Athens and Venice. In addition, the northern capital of Russia is among the ports of call for Queen Elizabeth. The ship will visit St.Petersburg during the two-week cruise St. Petersburg & Baltic Explorer.
